Fried Salmon Steaks With Braised Endives

Fried Salmon Steaks With Braised Endives

Ingredients
- 6 fresh salmon steaks
- 12 fresh endive
- 1 table spoon of liquid honey
- 100 ml of chicken or vegetable stock
- 2 sprigs of thyme
- 4 table spoons peanut oil
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
Pour the honey and 2 table spoons of the peanut oil in an anti-adhesive frying pan and fry lightly the endives, turning them occasionally with the two wooden spatulas.
Now pour the stock and add a little bit of salt, cover with a lid and let it cook for 15 minutes, turning from time to time, until the endives become tender.
Wash the steaks in running water and then dry them with kitchen paper to remove the extra water. Season them with a little bit of salt and pepper.
Now heat the remaining 2 table spoons of oil in a frying pan. Add the sprigs of thyme and fry the salmon steaks on medium heat about 5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown.
